Southern Trinity Health Services is looking for New Board Members!

Southern Trinity Health Services is governed by an all volunteer board of directors that meets monthly, insuring that our facilities are serving the healthcare needs of our communities. The board is searching for individuals who represent the service area covered by our Scotia Bluffs location to join them as members. If you or someone you know is interested, please have them give us a call at either clinic and request to speak with administration.

Please welcome our new Nurse Practitioner, Sandra Lee!

Sandra Lee  returns to the Pacific Northwest from San Diego after nearly 30 years working as a Respiratory Therapist and Registered  Nurse in the intensive care unit . She earned her Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011. Her passion is helping women of all ages in disease prevention and managing chronic health conditions.

Sandra will be offering her services to both of our clinics. She will be available at our Mad River clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays, and our Scotia clinic on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Mission, Vision & Values

Overview

Southern Trinity Health Services has two locations to serve our patients. Our original facility is along Highway 36 in Mad River one mile away from the county line, and our Scotia facility off of Highway 101 just past the Scotia shopping complex.

Southern Trinity Health Services (STHS) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) Community Health Center. We were also awarded a special designation May 1st, 2005 as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The area we serve is federally recognized as a Medically Underserved Area, and has Professional Shortage Area designations for Primary Care, Mental Health, and Dental. The clinic was founded by a group of concerned citizens 26 years ago with a mission “to improve the quality of life in southern Trinity and southeastern Humboldt Counties by providing access to quality, comprehensive, innovative, and integrated primary health care and emergency medical services regardless of ability to pay.”
