Overview:
Southern Trinity Health Services (STHS) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) Community Health Center. We were also awarded a special designation May 1st, 2005 as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Our clinic is located along Highway 36 in Mad River, one mile east of the Humboldt County line. The area we serve is federally recognized as a Medically Underserved Area, and has Professional Shortage Area designations for Primary Care, Mental Health, and Dental. The clinic was founded by a group of concerned citizens 26 years ago with a mission “to improve the quality of life in southern Trinity and southeastern Humboldt Counties by providing access to quality, comprehensive, innovative, and integrated primary health care and emergency medical services regardless of ability to pay.”
